Sounds like it's a must then from what everyone has posted. Shame that payday is 2 days away! Is it simple to use? I have a Simota induction kit and a KTR ULTRA PERFORMANCE 182 EXHAUST SYSTEM, so i would be looking to tweak the fuel and air mix to suit.

Anyone know if this fastchip kit would be good for a 182 and if it would be safe? I have a few mods on my Clio 182, IE induction kit and exhaust and thought this might make it run that bit smoother. Anyone know of this kit or any one used it...

I have been told that i cannot remap my existing ecu and i would have to buy a remapped ecu. Is this true? :eek: ClioHal:eek:

Had a look at where the cable goes in to the t/b and it was not stuck open. moved it round a bit and it stoped but still got the problem if you know what i mean. Car goes in to Peterborough Renault tomorrow. Will let you know how this goes. :butt: ClioHal:butt:

I don't think the problem is the cable as it started reving with the old cable on. That one snapped so i got it replaced and still have the problem. When i finnish work tonight, i get the car to rev a bit and then i will have a look at the black accel wheel on the throttle body. Will let you...

Had the cable raplaced a little while ago, don't think that is the problem. It is the MK 2 Phase 1 clio. My local renault dealer is going to give me a refund for saying they had fixed the problem but they hadn't. Any more info, feel free to type. :lolup: Cliohal:lolup:

Got mine about 2 days ago. It got sorted though about 2 weeks ago when it went in for some "SO CALLED REPAIRS". :approve: Cliohal:approve:

Just called my local dealer (Peterborough) and they told me it would take 4 hours to do the work and program the throttle bodys. I called the Renault garage in Northapton and they told me it would take max of 1 hour to fit the part and about 30mins to program it. Watch out for the dealer in...

Sorry for the late reply. I got the wheel off of EBAY and it cost me only £30. Bargin! The airbag witres are just in the centre on the steering wheel, fit nice and neat in there. the silver thing on the dash is a rev gauge and shift that i still need to wire up. I have tried to wire it up to...

Can anyone give me the basics on how to remove the standard steeringwheel and how to install a new one. Not to sure how i put the new one on. I think i need to pull of the middle bit of the wheel where the airbag is but i don't want to set it off. If anyone can let me know how to do this...
