u tried resetting it?

i bought my ph2 clio 2 months or so ago with a few problems i got it cheep. the bottom engine mount had gone so the engine was rocking lol changed that but there is still quite abit of play. also the gearstick moves when putting your foot down is this normal for a clio or should i be looking...

cheers av checked everythink lol apart from the aux belt didnt think this could cause the problems i am having?

so thats not the problem then lol. any ideas what this could be. when i turn to the left stearing is alot hevier and theres like a rubbing noise which gets louder the more i turn to the left? cheers

hi quick question. are the mounts at the top of your struts surpose to turn when you turn the stearing wheel?

These are the easiest cars ever to lower lol av just took my suspension kit off and put it back to standard as am selling the car. if your interested in a cheap bit of gud suspension pm me

took car to a garrage to check the bearings cv joints and bushes all come back fine and he recons that the noise is from the gearbox. find that strange as the noise is only their when stearing left? any ideas

17s matey 205/40/17 why what you thinking?

When driving in a straight line my car is fine but if i stear to the left it makes a wierd noise like a vibration which you can feel through the car. i have had a new bearing put in cos it needed it but cant find this problem any ideas? its a 02 reg cheers

How long would it take me to change the drive shafts on a 02 reg clio and is it straight forward? if any one has done it before lol cheers

not sure either to be honest usually with the fuses under the engine bay. i had this problem with a differant car and that was the relay for the fuel pump so just thought it worth a try i can have a look for you tonight on my clio and let you know were it is

id be tempted to say it was a fuel pump problem have you tried looking at the relays for the fuel pump?

hi mate first of all does it stall or do you loose power and have to turn it off?

i have nocking on the front end of mine and when looking at underneeth it was pretty easy to see why drive shaft boots had split so their was no grease. give that a look at matey

how easy is it to remove the manifold of a 2002 1.2 clio? fitted a standard exhaust on it for its mot and ended up snaping a bolt flush in the manifold:mad: lol so need to remove it 2nite and fit another one i have since got? cheers

same fault here buddy just pulled mine of was loose to find the bear wires seems to have sorted it good luck

were is the ecu situated on these? pretty new to clios so dont really know me way around it yet. recon it cud be the coil to like just wanna elimanate posibilities before i get one cheers

oh yes its misfiering lol sum times a light cums on on the dash that cuts all the power to the car like a box with a squigerly line in? cheers

hi just got a 1.2 16v 02 reg clio dynamique. and been reading the posts on here it has a bad idle. could you tell me the location of the idle valve or any other areas i should be looking at to resolve this problem ? cheers
