Hi Car wont start again. Had this prob a few times now. Oil/liquid seems to be getting in to the connection pictured below. if cleaned and dried car starts again. Problem is it keeps happening and i dont know why. Anyone offer any help and advise?

My speedo seems only to work went it wants to. Can work for 20mins then stop for a couple of hours. Seems to stop more often when at motorway speeds. All other dials ok just the speedo. Any ideas why and how to cure it?
