Windows 7 runs fine on my macbook, the only issue I have is my backlit keyboard will not switch off, keys are always illuminated. It's only a slight issue but hey, it still works. Just make sure you update the graphics drivers and all the aero effects should work perfectly

OSX sometimes refuses to read disks formatted as NTFS, which windows uses as standard from Vista onward. Format the USB pen to FAT32, and it should be fine.

Lookss like something w=has been pushing on the outside cover of the screen, which has then spread the Liquid crystal a ittle thin. Check any abgs you use to store it in etc. When its replaced you dont want it to happen again.

As long as the source files in your library are in MP3 format, not the standard apple AAC format, then you can burn MP3 cd's. Just create a new playlist, put the songs you want into it and select the Burn disc option. It's easy.

On my megane with the handsfree, all you do is get out the car and walk away. It then beeps twice and its locks. If youthen go up to it and pull the door handle it unlocks. Its such a nice system.

A program called Audio hijack will allow you to record any streamed audio, be it through a web browser or I-tunes. You should then be able to find another program to convert to mp3.

Check your earth strap to the chassis, my old cup was doing the same thing. When running, if you wiggle it, and the engine runs funny, then it will be that.

You can also run it under Bootcamp, which just requires a re-boot whenever you want to use windows. But this way it does use all the hardware natively, under Parrallels and VM Fusion, most of the hardware is run under emilation, so could be a bit slow depending upon what programs you want to run...

Sorry, You ar not supposed to fit towbars to the 172 cups... The chassis isn't built for them, as it says in the manual. I dont think any of the renaultsports can have a tow bar fitted, I'm sure someone else could clarify that.

Vista is known to run the hard drives more than other OS's, including XP. It's known to be a feature of the OS, to speed up serach and locate functions.

It could be another program is holding the access to the soundcard open, hence the plugin firefox uses cannot access it and thus wont play sound... I've known WMP to do this a few times. What programs are running at the same time?

I had a similar problem with the start, changed the battery and was fine for about a month, before it re-ocurred.... Its now getting a new earthstrap from the battery to the shell/chassis, due to excess corrosion within the cable. You could try that next...

Renault did do a recall on the accelerator cable on early Mk2 Clios, as my last one had it done. If the car is an early 172 it might qualify, so a replacement shouldn't cost you anything. Its worth getting it checked at a dealer.
