Got a set of RS stamped inlets in the garage and I read they are supposed to be an improvement, but I also read they don't fit ph1 172s. Without offering them up together why are they incompatible exactly? And to confirm I intend to fit them to a phase one model.

As simple as turning the stop screw on the throttle body or does it need ecu mapping? it idles just over 600rpm currently and it's lumpy as a tractor with a misfire and occassionally has a little struggle pulling away slowly, think it need 100rpm more or so. Thanks
