Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
£1.6k to insure a Clio? - I paid £1.4k to insure a 350z and I was 20 when I started the policy....
So you'd seriously sit out side washing your mates car for a good few hours.... for free?
Whats wrong with you?
£20 per hour is probably a good start? - Including materials.
I had my whole clio keyed... 9 Panels in total.
Gave up on sorting the work myself and sold it on with the damage for around £2k less than if it was in perfect condition. :( (Which it was!!)
Similar experience: I had win32 green screen virus thing yesterday... Haven't had a virus in years and it completly took out my pc! :( Locked my antiviruse/turned off the firewall/no access to task manager or the internet/wouldn't install anything on non-safemode.
Fix = Started in safemode...
Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
Im 20 years old, paying £1200 Fuly comp with flux on a Nissan 350z. :) - thats a good deal.
People are paying £2k a year for a 2L Clio worth £4-8k and mines a 3.5L worth £17k.
Thats alot of boring miles to be done.... I have taken my brothers Punto on a long journey adn regretted not taking the 350z. :S
My 350Z usually only does 27mpg on long trips... But I usually enjoy the ride down...
So win win??
tinted side repeaters, silvertech bulbs, colour coded bumpers/door handles/side strips/mirrors, upgraded head unit and sound system/tinted windows/induction kit....
Can't remember where I started, just some cheap mods I did....
Why? - Thats kinda of expensive. - £844.00 over 18months...
I pay £549 over 18 months, but thats with special dicount i guess. 1200mins 500texts Unlim Net.
Worse colour to keep in good condition, shows all the scratches, stone chips, swirls and dirt, silver imo is the easiest to keep clean, orange isn't too bad either. :)
Hi,
The insurance comapnies have been known to actually go to peoples neighbours, to check the main user of a vehicle... This will be dependant on the amount of money it is costing to repair yours and the other cars you hit... They wouldn't do it for a small bump. Just not worth the time and...
Always replace coil packs two at a time 1 and 3/ 2 and 4.
I had one go and replaced then about 3 weeks later another went. They all seem to start going after you replace one... :(
It was quite obvious the comment that would arise in the end.
I hope you sort out the airbags... What happens if the next owner crashes and dies.... beacause of the lack of the air bag.... :dapprove:
