Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Good mate, just spent a small fortune on a suspension refresh :)
Sounds good, should make a wicked daily driver. Another vote here for rstuning.
Yeah first time there, wanted to do the spa trackday for couple of years but it's never worked out well time wise.
Hotel was £350 for 3 nights, couldn't get booked in at the others but tbh the hotel was crazy with the supercars and vln track action.
Had seen some race trucks etc pulling up in the grand prix pitlane and thought something must be on and woke up in the morning to the noise of a vln practice day J
Had breakfast on the balcony watching them, life couldn’t get much better, went out to the viewing spots later in the day...
So went out for a wander and down to the
Greeted by
and into the museum
Then with some puzzled looks we went into the 4d cinema. It’s a display of the 24 hour race by bmw good video great 3d clips and it spits with rain in the cinema and smells of fire aswell.
Back onto the tour...
Got half way there and the sat nav just lost signal, great luckily I packed my evo track guide and it has directions in. Getting closer managed to latch onto no less than 6 gt3rs and followed to the circuit.
We were staying at the dorint hotel which is located on the gp circuit. The weather...
Then got the Renault van upto eau rouge for viewing and some pictures.
Then came back into the paddock and went out with Jeremy in the 200 for afew laps. Not sure what I was more impressed with the clio or Jeremy’s driving but it was great fun right on the limit, then...

Well here is my writeup from a mad week or so. Put the kettle on because I have condensed this as much as I can. Thought I would share on here as it's a trip definately worth doing.
The week before the car had oil change (2k since the last) full fluid flush and new fluid in and new gearbox oil...

Wouldn't use spit and polish. My wheels were done there under warranty and they aren't great, hanger marks on them too. If you want the best only lepsons will do.
lepsons perfecly colour matched my old r26's wheels, I had 2 spare for track and they came out spot on, even the ones you buy from...
Hmm not a great video. You will loose power with a full straight through on the megane. Best bet exhaust wise is backbox removal leave the centre standard as you keep the whistle (if you like it)
lol no worries traffic was murder going up near the hilton looks like we both had the same idea.
There renaultsports there meant to be driven like a loon
I was in my megane, sadly didn't get to see the black one. Rob Huff was walking round the pits aswell.
You should of done the evening session mate was great fun, 2 clio cup racers out there 200 and 182.
Ah I thought I recognised the number plate.
I was in the pits waiting for the 5 oclock evening session but arrived early to watch this. Your car was like a 3 wheeler for most of the lap :) looked great out there.
The guy in the gt3 rs had a real tank slapper moment and came off luckily he...
