You need to slacken the mounts and start the car for 30 seconds give it some small revs let the engine sit were it wants. Tighten back up and they should feal great. I had no extra vibration with mine at all.
Right i may be able to sort out a group buy on fuel swirl pots 2.5l they will have an fixings on them what i need to know is what an fixings (size) for the clio and if anybody would be intrested
There are four all together you can just do the dog bone with power flex and sea how that works. I would not do any top mounts on there own it will make the opisite side go quiker. I had ktec mounts , they are exspencive but well worth it
While my engine is in bits i notice a key way in my crank and pully. I know they dont have a key but can you just put one in to be safe or is it more complicated than that
What rings are you using chip and what are the tourq setting for the crank. My blockes getting dipped at the end off the month with my mates mini and all these turbo conversion are giving me ideas
is this a diy job or do i pay some body to do it ,been quoted £20. also there seems to be sum oil feed pipes or somthing on the inside of the block are these in the way for honing
