The car is alive again :) engine is running very good,just as it did before the noise. The noise was a loose flywheel,changed the clutch while it was all apart and also fitted new flywheel bolts. Happy to be back on the road again

just been to look at a 53 plate 172,but it had some features of a 182,cruise control,e.s.p,no drivers door lock etc ​is this common for the 53 plates?

What are k-tec's rollers like for figures anyway? I know a 1/4 mile trap speed is a better indication of power,but rollers are a good enough guide.

same here! unbolt the top part of the inlet,remove the leads (so it doesn't try firing) and then get someone to look down the manifold while you crank it over and see if the injectors are pulsing correctly.
