Ahh right i see....i'll give them a phone in the morning. I'm not sure whether it's the one on the bonnet or the slam panel? :S The one on the bonnet seems to move....it just won't "clip in" once the bonnet goes down. Need to get it fixed soon though....don't fancy getting a bonnet in the face!

Evening guys, So yesterday....my dashboard and rear lights stopped working, so after a quick look on here i went out and checked all the fuses. All were fine...so then procededed to check the fuses under the bonnet....and all were good there too. So anyways....it turned out a relay had fallen...

So....after reading through a few threads on here relating to the issue i have with the misfiring. It would appear that maybe swapping round the lambda sensors would be a good idea to see if it makes a difference?

I think you might be right. My friend who usually does the work for me is offshore at the minute. I'm just at a loose end....i'll need to find a decent garage to put it into. Just looking for help/clues on here....alot of folk have said injectors/lambda sensor....me, personally....i haven't...

I have replaced the coil pack....but didn't make any difference.

My "mate" is no expert, thats not exactly what he said....it was me who probably typed it wrong, lol. It was something along those lines....thought i may be able to adjust it slightly just to alter emissions reading. I have replaced the could pack....not didn't make any difference. Shall look...

I've had it plugged into the machine. It's been missing for a little while now....but nothing was showing up on the Diagnostics. I thought the misfiring may have had something to do with it failing on emissions?

I have been told....although i'm not entirely sure if this is the case. Is there some way of adjusting the amount of fuel going into the engine? My poor wee clio has just failed its mot on emissions....and i've got a list of things it could be.... Exhaust needs patching - failing that new...

How safe is it to pull the injector out whilst running?

Can someone please tell me how to change the drivers side - side light? My hands are way to small to fit in there. Also....what is the fuel rail guard? I'm not entirely sure. I'm must sound like a right dumbass! :P Cheers guys

Cheers man. On the to do list tonight. As for pads....took the wheel of last night....drove a little to far and pads are now right down to the metal. They're only 4 months old! Thanks for all your help everyone. Hopefully get to the root of the problem tonight. Cheers.

Haven't yet had time to check injectors. Are all injectors the same though? Does one injector fit all four places...?! Cheers

Could you dumb that down a little for me? The rail being? Can you do it when the car is stationary? (bearing in mind....it sits idle ok, doesn't miss) only when it's in motion. cheers

Since it has started misfiring the engine light came on once but i turned the ignition on and off and it hasn't come on since. would plugging it into a diagnostic machine help?! I've replaced coilpack and plugs. surely the leads alone could cause this?! After reading a few threads I've been...

Ok...so... My car has been missing for a wee while now, but not to bad. It's taken a turn for the worse now though. It seems to miss under 2000 revs....and sometimes when pulling up a hill etc. I've replaced the spark plugs....and the coil pack and it's still missing. Please, please help...

Hi there, My Clio172 has been misfiring at low revs for a few days now and...its not just when its cold. After a 2 hour car journey it was still missing. It misses between 1000 and 2000 revs....once past that it runs like a dream (as per usual). Any suggestions? Plugs? Leads? Or something...

I've already gone through 2 of them, the rubber just perishes then there's a knocking coming from it constantly :( I don't think i'll even get one attached now? Nothing to attach it too....

Does anyone else have issues with the back box support bracket rubber perishing after a short amout of time? I've abit of an issue now that mines has been on and off so often that the threads are too worn/ever so slightly rusty to attach it back on, so have there for had to make a home made...

Alright guys.... Having abit of an issue with my rear passenger side wheel bearing. After replacing them 5months or so ago (disks aswell) the passenger side one has gone already for sum unknown reason? Anyways....when my mechanic went to replace the disk....he found a small washer in behind...

I recently fitted a new back box on my clio 172. It was running fine for long enough but not the pipe that the back box is connected into is now a little corroded. I've patched it a few times....and it hasn't seemed to help. Was wondering if any1 knew if it is possible to get a replacement...

Cheers guys, got a new coilpack today and some new plugs. Hopefully that'll sort it out. Think its the same plugs since new...its an 03 plate with 76k on the clock, lol
