Hi
Can someone please let me know how to reset the radio stations on the CD/Radio (Standard Mk2 172). I can't find the manual and need to change some of the stations.
Regards
Geraint
Code entered, radio working.
After entering the code, i moved back to the first digit then held in the outer button (under the stalk) until it beeped (Same button as you use to move from one digit to the next).
On the subject of codes does anyone know where I can get a code for a Fiat...
I'm using the outer button (under the stalk) to change from one digit to the next and the wheel to change the numbers. If I press this one again it just goes round to the first number.
I'll try the other button/5 and see if that helps.
Cheers
Please can someone let me know what I need to do to accept a code once entered.
I can put the code in but don't have the radio booklet to say how to accept the code once entered.
Regards
Does your 36k price include the accessory belt change ? Renault charged 300 for the 36k service and then another 200 for the belt change. Id hate to think how much the 72k would be at Renault as both belts need changing then.
After a lot of chasing phone calls the centre section of my exhaust has now been replaced by Renault.
I hope that this now solves the problem, ill let you know if it does not.
Renault Dealer has now informed me that i need a complete exhaust as they do not replace centre sections only.
Sarcasm mode on
And all for the reasonable sum of just under £600. Sounds a bargain for only a 1yr guarantee.
Sarcasm mode off
I was also considering buying another Renault but...
Yes its another 4k exhaust rattle topic.
When my car was having its 36k service I had the main dealership check my exhaust rattle. I explained it was a common fault etc.
They said it was the baffles and was not covered so I contacted Renault Customer Services (RCS). Ive been back and forth...
Accessory belt is due at 36k on a mk2 as i had mine done yesterday. Initially the dealer said no belts were due at 36k but i contacted Renault who said 36k or 5yrs. All the details are in the service book.
The 172 is great, but the service from Renault has been appalling. After my experience with them I will never buy another Renault again.
Initially my car was with them for 3 months, in the end I contacted trading standards and sent them a breach of contract letter. When I eventually went...
Thx
My 172 just seems to feel better than it was before its extended stay at Renault (3 months). I wondered if the ECU had changed as it may have accounted for it, but it must be the fact I was driving *other* cars for so long.
Does anyone know who, at Renault HQ, I should send my complaints to with regards to the excessive amount of time that the Renault Dealer is taking to repair my car ?
Ive been experiencing the same problems as you Faceman.
Its been to the Dealers but they couldnt reproduce the problem so they didnt do anything. Im going to book it in and ask them them to try starting it first thing in the morning.
