Afternoon All,
In the long process of refurbing the 182 and looking to get the wheels re-furbed in anthracite grey as they have seen better days. Anybody had some good experiences local to Farnborough?
Now luckily the diagnostic was free and they apparently took it round the corner to a Renault specialist where they used the proper kit. I didn't pay for anything I said I was on the clio forum and could get the parts cheaper/change them myself :) I have a company car so this is now my tinker...
They are a little black I haven't been using it since its been misfiring to save any more issues. The eml was flashing so the garage did a diagnostics and said it's misfiring on 3 and that is needs a new coilpack and leads which I replaced with renault parts to make sure. The spark plugs are a...
Cheers mate.
Changed the thermostat last night as it needed one anyway. The flashing eml light has come back. It idles much smoother with the new leads and coil pack but something still is misfiring. Ive done the injector test and when disconnecting number three the engine barely changes at...
Hi all
I've had a search but couldn't find the right answer. My 182 had a flashing Eml light and ran lumpy so put it in the garage who ran a diagnostics which said misfire on cylinder three. I've replaced the coil pack and ht leads. It's running better and the light has gone but the smell...
Hello Mate,
I just had the exact same problem when turning full lock to the right at low speeds. There was a awful twanging noise and the car jolted. Mine turned out to be the drivers side spring was unseated. The top part of the spring was above the actual top cap. I rebuilt it and the problem...
Thanks Mate I might have to change up my springs then! I've got a company car and when I get back in the 182 for a drive it just skips and jumps all over the shop.
Looking really good! How much better is the ride on eibachs? My 182 has Apex 40mm springs and a small dip in the road is like driving over a landmine......
Yesterday morning, I fitted the top mount spacers in an attempt to cure the dreading knocking. No dice it didn't fix it so I jacked her up and whipped the wheel off to have a poke around underneath I looked up into the wheel arch to fit my apex spring had decided it didn't being in the right...
Hi All
I've been trying to source the centre bracket for the upright seats in my 182. (the one with the annoying bolt which always rounds off.)
so far I haven't had any luck, my mot is due at the end of Jan.
my back seats are currently in the car just clipped into the hinge on each side. i'm...
nearly had my 182 four years and haven't ever thought about selling it. I drive mine 40 miles a day and never have a dull moment.
the best bit is all those French noises that give me countless Saturday mornings trying to locate....
Hi All
Does anybody know if its possible to get the middle bracket which holds the rear seat upright into place. I've been looking everywhere and I cant even find a picture let alone one for sale. * the one with the pain in the a### bolt that everybody has to hack to pieces*
thanks in advance!
I have had 4 of these put on my 182 this month. they aren't to bad very grippy in the wet. however I have a lovely humming noise up to 40mph atm so cant really tell how noisey the tyres are.....unless its the hum !
i have this noise to!
I thought it was the tyres as they were old, got 4 new uniroyals and its still there.
Had some small play in the front left bearing so it was changed and its still there.
I will have a look underneath to see if it is something rubbing on the wheels.
if anybody has any...
Hi All
Got hold of clio trophy replica spoiler and now just looking to get it sprayed.
Does anybody recommend a good place to get it done in Hampshire?
i'm based in Farnborough.
thanks in advance!
for a smaller engine id suggest a custom longlife cat back exhaust.
had one fitted on a 1.4 mg zr and couldn't fault it. I think it was about £300.00 fitted.
