Cheers Matty, I think i will definitely go for the Magnex then - just got to find the cheapest supplier now.
I have a HP induction kit which makes a mother of a roar when accelerating as it is - hence my desire not to have a loud exhaust too.
Thanks.
Hi there - I am thinking of ordering a full Magnex system (incl their cat by pass pipe) this week, and just wanted to check with the Willy / Valver owners how loud this would be, plus also the quality of fit.
I dont want the exhaust to be too loud - just want to replace the original system...
I have got the Hill Power de-cat - and my exhaust also makes that annoying buzzing sound at 3-4k revs. The rest of the system is std.
Would fitting a Magnex cat back exhaust cure the buzzing noise? It really is becoming irritating, but i want to keep the de cat cos the car seems more...
Lotus Exige - looks awesome on the road. ..and is plenty quick enough.
If you want an all round package though, I think that the BMW M Coupe could be pretty much untouchable.
It may be worth waiting a bit for the new Clio V6 as that could be another good all -rounder, plus you could get a...
I had the feeling at the time that they were telling me horse sh*t! Anyway, whether they dropped the axle or not they charged 1 hours labour to fit the back box.
Holy sh*t...that is effing cheap insurance. Who do you go thru? I am 25 and am paying close to £1,400 with 2 years no claims bonus . I have got it down t about £1,250 with tescos, but will try the tett hamilton guys tomorrow.
Apparently, the axle DOES have to be dropped to fit the back box...well thats what renault told me and charged me for. I wouldnt believe them, so they showed me on the computer screen. Still, i think there MUST be a simpler way to fit a back box somehow.
i own a Willy 3 with sunroof and it is fine - i have had no problems - either with creasing or electrics. Between me, my brother and sister, we have owned 3 valvers (2 phase 1s, and 1 phase2) plus a williams - they all had sunroofs and there was never a prob. the mileages are 24k (my willy3) to...
Just got back from R.Sport...not really anything concrete yet about Cup upgrades though
Cup Upgrades: Apparently, they have developed a chip now that boosts mid range torque , but top end power is about the same...its all being signed off i believe and maybe avail. by end of Feb. Apart from...

Sorry to disappoint all the conspiracy theorists out there, but R.Sport in Wimbledon (Nelsons Industrial estate) is as legit as they come! They are not RenaultSport, but are called R. Sport (formerly Radbourne Racing). They have a very close relationship with RenaultSport and Renault UK .

willy 3 also has un uprated 60 watt stereo and i think came with Cat 1 alarm and immobilser as standard (i think that that the alarm/immob was fiited by Renault UK once the cars arrived here)...

Craggy - Im sure you did keep up with one - especially as ur Williams seems to be bloody quick judging by the numerous cars you have caned! I can stay with my bros Integrale in a straight line upto about 70 (him being a few car lenghts ahead) but in a proper race when I am chasing him around...

My brother owns a last of the line limited edition Integrale Evo II (reg 1995) (Lagos blu) - it has 215bhp (the same as the rest of the Evo IIs), 4WD, turbo and is bloody fast! We have raced each other on numerous occasions and i get hammered nearly every time! Off the lights you will prob stay...
