Hi Guys, Winter is nearly here! and the nights are drawing in. The main beam lights on my car (Mk2 172) are fairly useless. Does anyone know if I can put real bulbs in (say 100-150 watt),or if this will melt the lenses. I know its illegal for road use, but I have a long twisty private drive...

Does anyone know of a wiring diagram for a MK 2 172 on the web. I just need to tap into a 12v (always live) in the boot, so if anyone can suggest the best place please let me know. thanks
