Okay after recently purchasing a new HP laptop that came with a recovery partition I have created a recovery disc using windows 7. What I am asking is the recovery disc a replacement for the partition. If so I will be able to format it and install Ubuntu on it?

Does anybody have a Windows vista installation disc they would be willing to lend. I have my own licence key but i was supplied with a recovery partition on my laptop which was useless when the hard drive failed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I bought some alloys led to belive they would fit my clio, turns out the centre hole is to small to fit over the hub on my clio. Is there anything i can do to resolve this adapting? Or should i just sell them on again.
