Apart from Renault, have tried GSF and Europarts but no joy, Kwik Fit are no help either, has anyone ever got one elsewhere? Don't want stainless as I'm getting rid soon so want it std. Cheers!!

Just had a look on Eurocarparts website, nothing coming up for a 172 exhaust, will give then a buzz in the morning. You have to drop the subframe to fit them dont you???

Is this witht he air con on?? It's due to more power being needed to run the air con I think? Mine does it too, even worse if you bung the heated rear screen on too!!

Sorry, PH2 172! Apparently there was a "slight hole" in the centre section and the back box was corroding. Would love a stainless but fingers crossed am going to be selling in the new year for a new car so would prefer it to be standard! Thanks!

Right, think I've cracked it, took the air box off and gave the mount a whack with a hammer!! The main bolt through the middle seems to just spin though, it hand tightens but no more, was it the threads on this cracking or is this ok (there seems to be two bits to this bolt??). Renault Dartford...
