Going rate is about 300 with newish tyres I think. They've got a while left on eBay anyway and people keep offering me stupid prices, gonna see how things pan out.
Good read that mate.
I've just got a set of 182 wheels, so my orange ones are gonna come up for sale soon.
I'll PM you when i've got a bit of time to clean em and take some better photos.
Hi guys, car passed its MOT other day fine, but i've got a couple of advisory items and one i'm not too sure about?
001 - Front brake pads wearing thin. - Easy as peas, happy days.
002 - Centre rear (Joint) Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases. - Is this bad? If so hard to fix?
003 -...
Cheers chaps.
I'll get it up on ramps at garage and if it needs anything doing then i'll see to it.
Yeah probably did jump the gun abit.
Its just f**king annoying. Fixed one thing and two days later something else goes wrong.
Hi guys.
Was out yesterday with a full car and i went over a few speed bumps which scraped on what im guessing was the cat.
Now its blowing to f**k! I couldn't have a look cause it was dark when i got home but it definately sounded bad.
+ i don't have much spare time.
My MOT is due feb 20th and...
Apologies if this has already been posted, but it gave me some laughs.

Yeah man, it drives in a straight line fine but theres a very slight pull to the right, and it corners fine.
They're wearing to one edge only. The outmost side.
Its primarily the drivers side though, but once that one is near enough bald the passenger won't be far behind.
Well its only a 1.2...
3 pairs of fronts in under a year. :/
Touché.
Normally around 45, but now its down to about 38. I fill it up with £35 once a week, but it just doesn't seem to last as long.
Hmm, maybe lad, it sounds like the noise is coming from something completing a revolution, which is what made me think...
Alright chaps,
Clio's run fine for ages now, but lately its been abit crap.
I've been doing a fair bit of motorway driving this week, and i noticed that when i go above 70, something on my drivers side is knocking.
Personally i think it could be the driveshaft, but i wanted a few more opinions...
I went out in the car later, about 6pm and its working right as rain now...?
:S
I could do with coming down at some point though, cause there's other niggling annoying things that i'd rather an expert look at than joe bloggs.
Thanks for your help mate.
When it went the first time, i had most of your symptoms, Limp mode, rough idle and woooshing.
So i changed the coil pack and it was fine for about 3 months.
But now its started doing it again (Since Saturday) Same wooooshing, sounds like its missing or got a flat spot, and lack of power.
I got...
Did you get anywhere with this fella?
Mine's having the same problems.
I've changed coil pack/plugs, but still sounds shocking.
It doesn't quite go into limp, but it doesn't sound far off.
And when setting off or when at a junction, it sounds grumbly and theres a loss of power.
Thanks,
Just changed coil pack and put new spark plugs in, and its still fucked.
It seems to be missing under low revs, or sound like its got a flat spot.
When i set off, or set off at a junction, it makes a grumbly noise and theres a distinct loss of power from what its normally like.
How much'd it be...
Cheers Mick,
Nah, it was a brand new one from AutoSupplies near me. Cost about £50. Obviously wasn't a Renault one, but i'm guessing that's the culprit.
Exact same symptoms as last time i had the problem.
I'll have to have a look in the morning for issues/fluid though, cause it's too dark now...
I've just sat in t'car after being at work all day, and when i started it up it was really juddery, even before i set off.
When driving home, it sounded like a combination of the engine misfiring, or exhaust blowing.
My exhaust is fine, no holes or weak parts.
It did it a couple of months ago...
Have you really got nothing better to do with your life other than criticise the mistakes of others?
Shouldn't you be reading books or something?
I appreciate the fact i may have tiny balls right now, but this whole thing is getting pretty boring.
I know i should have said something. But i didn't. End of.
I didn't post the thread to have a war with a set of f**king keyboard warriors.
And as for those that said "Orr, i would have keyed his car, or i would have got out a bar and smashed his car in."
Would you f**k.
In a car park full of...
Wish i'd have parked over the road now. But it was pissing it down. What makes me laugh is that i work at Tesco, and not once had my car got a scrape or a scratch, and i park here and boom.
I wrote this post didn't i? I was only asking what anyone else would have done?
Yeah, fair play. Just seemed a rate hassle for chipping a bit of bump strip.
I know. The idiot. Fair enough. I've done the wrong thing there then.
What do you do?
I've just been to McDonalds, and whilst i was sat munching a delicious McChicken sandwich, this old codger pulls up next to me.
He then reverses and pulls abit closer.
Our lass said to me "No door left for you then.."
And with that, the absolute moron opens his door into my...
