Thanks for your input mate.. so the 4 pin TPS there is 2 signal wires ( 1 for Right hand fitting 1 for left hand) a +5v and a ground. So I’ve taken the pins 2, 4 and 6 out of the 6 pin throttle body plug… it seems to be all working, just need to get online with the ECU to see if it’s being fed...
None of the wires in the original clio 182 throttle body plug go to ECU pins 43,71 or 87 like most have said this is what it needs to be wired to at the ECU.
Evening all.
I’ve fitted a itb kit to my 182.
On the TPS for the Itbs there is only 4 pins but on the 182 looms plug there is 6.
Anyone have any idea what wires I need to cut and put into a new plug for my tps
Are they really. I know they can run pretty bad when cold but none of my other 4 have like this.
I have a spare front sensor so will get that changed thank you
Evening all. I suspect I have a little issue with my Clio.
Firstly in the morning it runs like an absolute nail, splutters and miss fires and feels like the cars being pulled back. After a min it starts to drive half normal.
But still under normal temp/ driving the car still doesn’t run 100%...
Evening all. I know it’s abit if a vague question and lots of contributing factors.
But what have people achieved power wise on a stock 182 motor. With Itbs /decat exhaust.
Been speaking to a few people who are selling kits. And one person is saying their car made under 200bhp and the other...
Tbh not much really. Might get off those battery/ air filter covers. And will definitely be taking the wheels off for a proper clean, polish and wax :)
Thought I'd post on my old car thread.
Back in another clio after 10 years.
This is my 3rd one off a well known member 😂 and my 5th clio sport now
Thanks Mark for the beauty @Jekyll
so I’m finally back in a RB after 10 years 🫣. Thank you again mark for the car. A true credit to you.
For now it will remain as it is with a few of my personal touches and I will enjoy it over the summer months bringing back lots of great memories!
Here’s a picture from its clean on Tuesday...
