Hi chris, have lowered many clio rts with 17s, so far havnt come across any real problems, other than a small amount of rubbung on the inner front arches, which happens with 15s anyway, pi springs were used and they were a drop of 55mm, hope this helps Dave

it all depaends on what make of springs you use! usually with 16" wheels with 55mm lowering springs the front wheels will sit a little under the wings the edge of the wing should sit on the top of the wheel and you should not see any tyre at the top, Dave

i do have a mk1 clio, they can be a bugger to get sitting right, make sure it is sitting flush with the quater panel, if i remember rightly the lexus style lights actually use genuine backings off the light unit so they should fit pretty good

have you checked that the lights have been located properly behind the 2 lugs behind the bumper, if these are not in, the unit will not fit right, good kuck and hope you sort it Dave
