Valver Tyres Size Pros/Cons

Currently running some 195/50/15s on my valver ATM and finding theres a fair amount of body roll so wondering what improvement 195/45/15s would make?

Will it cure the body roll by any amount and will there be any other benifits (acceleration?) or drawbacks (looking odd?)?

Discuss.....cheers! :D

The befenits would probably a very very very slight increase in acceleration (smaller diameter and a fraction lighter).

As for drawbacks, a much bumpier ride!!!!

here goes,

Do tyres make any contribution to body roll?

tyres do not affect body roll, only spring stiffness and damper rebound can change this, but lower profile tyres will give more feeling into the body of the car because there is less give in the wall of the tyre, will notice it more changing from left to right and when changing lanes on the motorway,

will be slighly bumpier but worth all is worth while,

hope this helps
