my dad had the megane, ive got a mk1 172. the megane is faster but not by that much. you get the turbo kick when you boot it but to be honnest, for the extra 4? insurance groups, i prefer the clio. The megane does feel very solid though. not sure on the 182 tho.

backbox falling off, yup! no other problems with my 172

the bend on my cat pipe snapped the other day in glasgow. i had to drive it 100miles with the emissions leaving before the last silencer and backbox. oh my god i couldnt have a boy racer exhaust again. i like the sound of the 172, especially when you boot it :)

yeah mate the xsara is a nice car, bit heavy on the petrol so it had to go and be replaced by the saxo.

ha f***ing ha... i knew people would say that. it is white after all. anyways i bought the car the other day and it had a little mark on it and just wondered if anyone had cleaned the leather before.

ive noticed a wee mark on my seats, anyone ever cleaned the leather part of them and how did you go about doing it? any help would be great

i use a pressure washer to blast the crap off the car, then use a sponge with warm soapy water to clean the car, then a cold rinse followed by chamois leather to dry it... polishing comes after that if i can be arsed.

got this stereo from a mate, said its out a citroen ax... it is a panasonic cq-rdp210LEN and has a 16pin plug on the back. i just need to know what each pin is for and i can do the wiring myself. im looking to fit it to a renault extra van. any help would be good...

i can fit my finger between the tyre and the arch all the way round... and i dont see any signs of damage on the wheel or tyre.

where exactly about, the outside of the wheel (i.e. the bit you can see) or the inside? and is the tyre hitting the top, side etc.. cheers
