Driving with windows open today (first time) and there was a tapping sound coming fromm the back of the car. it got faster and louder when i sped up but didnt go away when i stopped acceleration and dipped the clutch, any ideas what it could be? looks like its going in to renault, again!

since my 24000 mile service my 172 has gone from slow, to wheelspining in 1st and sometimes 2nd and has loads of torque steer, it also feels a hell of a lot faster, i do need new front tyres but it was never like this before the service. any guys have torque steer when accelerating hard?
