It was all the voltages lol.
I checked the live data. Once it was up to temp it jumped about. MPG is ~40 so I think it's ok.
The other one (post cat?) was steady but I cant remember the voltage. I didn't know if that one mattered?
Thanks for the replies.
Cheapy obd reader and a snapon one at the local garage.
I was going with the approach of 2 readers giving the same result meant that it was correct.
You're right tough. A clip would be better.
Hi
For the last couple of weeks I've been trying to get the engine management light to stay off.
I've had two code readers of it, and they both say 'Random/Multiple cylinder misfire'. Put it this way. If there actually is a misfire, it's very minor and I can't hear or feel it.
The light comes...
Aye up
I think I'm going to get a lot of people saying 'just get rid of them' but I like having them and MOTs are touch-and-go with xenons.
So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any decent headlight washers that would fit a Clio but are better made. I changed my rear view mirror for a BMW one...
The fobs are really pricey. Renault only I think.
I got a key (without a remote) from a key cutters. They cant all do it though because they need to have a certain machine/computer to program it.Timpsons said no.
It cost £20 or something.
Not bad for a spare.
I had the small electric compressor type myself. It sounded okay with longer trumpets. Quite loud
A friend had a full sized compressor and 'train horns'.......excessively loud!!! I mean OMG loud!
This is in a landrover though. I don't think you could fit it in anything smaller tbh because of...
On a serious note....
Renault will do them* but it probably easier to just find a similar size screw form somewhere.
Or just not bother. It will be okay without it as long as they're not all missing.
Pic at requested....
left to right.
Foamy filter (needs a clean!), A Apro paper filter, a Hammer (probably not a good filter but its handy for scale), BMC, and LOL filter
Hey, I've don't a few searches but I was wondering what othe people would do in my case.
i have a BMC CDA already. It's a big one I had on my saxo, not the shorter one desiged for clios.
Because of the size, it would be a pain to fit but I think it's do-able.
I also have a foam style air...
I had the same issue. You can get a wiper removal tool
Mine bent and failed! You could then try a ball joint puller.
I gave up and hid a new pump behind the bumper. Bit of a bodge. It works though!
I was with virgin for a few years and we switched to bt because the customer service is so sh•t. We had many occasions when the Internet went down for hours without any explanation.
We called them to fix the phone line and after 3 irrelevant letters and 8 weeks of waiting we gave up! The...
I'd definatly change the driveshaft first. Unless it's not changing gear properly. Might be worth seeing if there's any holes in the cv boots (if you haven't already) or if there's an play in the shaft.
Thanks. I'll have a look about then.
I wouldn't bother with them but I'm getting bit annoyed knowing they should be there and work!
Also the new MOTs it's a bit of a gray area.
As above really.
I need a new headlight washer pump but can't find one cheap. Are the headlight washer pumps the same as the windscreen ones?
Also, while I think about it. I have to take the wiper arm off obviously. The nut has sheared off. I have a wiper removal tool and was going to...
