Run vent from tank up C post then use inline valve like
http://www.newton-equipment.com/inline_valves.html and run outlet at bottom of C post by rear bumper,
I personally would want tank vented on a track car.
Cut vent hose that went to canister from tank, (cut near tank)
connect new vent hose

run new hose up and down "C"post (to stop fuel spillage if car rolls)...
Vent from tank up "c" post, and back down to rear wheel arch with this valve near the arch.
Done last year no problems with fuel vapors etc...http://www.newton-equipment.com/tpv8.htm

This may be of help ( depending on what motorsport you're planning on doing)

Thanks for the reply. I may just go for the Pure kit, because it will work out cheaper, ( can take back alternator + belt), won't have to go to Pirtek for modified pas pipe and because with the pas pump now under the alternator there is very little room because I've got the small Polo rad and it...
I've got those brackets, I've fitted the "adjuster" bracket on the car but the cup alternator will not fit because the pas pump is in the way.I could possibly remove the pas pump and fit it on the alternator bracket under the alternator. On the last image in your post on 20:02 you can see the...
I've got the cup alternator, but the pas pump is above where the cup alternator should go ? I cannot fit alternator with the pas pump in the position it is now. On the pictures above the pas pump/pulley is below the alternator, whereas on mine the pulley/pump is above, (if that makes sense). I...
No, compressor gone, I've been using a different pulley below the alternator. Now I've bought cup brackets and alternator, but with alternator bracket bolted in, I can't fit the alternator because the pas pump is in the way, I'm trying to work out if the cup bracket is fitted correctly or...
I'm fitting 172 cup alternator kit to my 182, all air con gubbins removed, I'm aware I have to bend/change 182 pas pipe, but do I need to change/move air con pump ? I've bolted 172 cup alternator brackets in but cannot see how to fit the alternator because the pas pump is in the way. Any...
As said above, I don't have air con and the fan has never cut in. Re: the straight bottom outlet on the se310, I've bought a 32mm/ 45 degree samco hose to help with fitting if necessary, although may not needed.
I've just bought the Polo rad (se310) for fitting to a 182 used for sprinting and track days, (used on the road for driving to/from events). Whilst the smaller capacity could be an issue, with no air con rad/condensor in front ( as per originally fitted), I'm hoping it will do the job.
As per title, I've read the guide by Graham 172, if you block the vent pipe from the tank, how is the tank now vented ? As from what I understand the filler cap is non vented.
Therein lies the problem, 10 seconds on the search function shows different weights - from 4.5kg to 7.7kg, I've read before that the magnesium wheels have serial no. 7j 6000..... which my wheels have, so if I could find the serial no. of the standard F1 I would know what ones I've got.
I used the RSR's in 2008 for sprinting etc... Was very impressed for the price, softer and stickier than comparable Hankook RS2's and Kumho Ecsta MX, also no worse than road tyres in the wet. Not as grippy as R888's etc... but then they're cheaper, i would recommend them, but make sure you...
I don't want to buy any, i've got 8 OZ F1's (and 1 buckled one) and wasn't sure if they were mag. or standard alloy. I have read earlier that 7j with 6000... part no. are mag. which mine are.
