I have used the s9b from the ginettas.
They are a hard tyre but offer a suprising amount of grip even when cold.....
They have a very stiff side wall so great with lower pressures

Im im just trying to ascertain if the CAL files are linked to an individual car via the vin no?
I have updated the ecu software but it keeps failing loading on the CAL map
this is a map sent over by another member. It is the correct one for the ecu software but just won't load on...
Mick I will have to pay u a visit when I get the car insured and get you to check it out as just disconnecting the airbags in the seats hasnt cleared the lights.

So now the light is on I need to get the module altered to accept the seat airbags? Or disconnect the airbags and have the module faults cleared on a propper diagnostic system?

It is all connected up ok. I have now crimped both connections on the pass seat as one was already cut of when I got the seat. Airbag light is still on....
check the large solder joint (fused connection) on the battery positive lead that goes round to the started......
I had the same problem, it clicks as it throws the gear out on the starter but wont turn it over...
So plugging it in to CLIP diagnostics will tell me which connector is at fault???? That's a clever bit of kit then isn't it! Your not being helpfull with your comments mate.

Am I correct in thinking its the black and red connector that the problem is caused by on the pass seat?

the difference between ph2 172 and 182 seats are that the 172 seats have grey alcantara with a black fleck and 182s have a gery alcantara with a white fleck...
I currently have a 172 drivers seat and 182 pass seat for sale if you are interested....

Hey guys. Iv got a 172 cup with a retro fitted 182 leather interior.
Im having problems with the above lights coming on, I know it came a pproblem with the plug on the pass side under the seat but is this the same with the cup models? As they didn't have seat airbags from the factory would...
Iv got myself a EML cable and software and tried to diagnose the engine management light on my clio 172 cup
All it says is O2 sensor circuit fault... How do I know if it is pre cat or post cat (im presuming my cup has both??)

you dont have to remove the front shocks and springs to remove the engine, just remove shocks from hubs then you have enough room to pull the shaft out on the drivers side and unbolt the pass side shaft...
I know this has been covered but I cant seem to find a definitave answer anywhere....
Iv got an OBD2 lead that attaches to my laptop now im just after a bit of software to read and remove the fault codes.
Iv been told that VCDS will do it but I dont know the settings that need inputting so it...
Also look at the positive connection to the battery, under the plastic bit where the 2 thick red cables join....
If the RAC guy was a bit heavy handed when changing the battery he could have cracked the solder join under the cover... Just had it on my 172 cup after an engine change...

mine look very dark but I would say a dark graphite rather than black
All the grey ones that are for sale look very light tho, just dont want mis matched headlights.
