M-reg decked Monaco blue Valver spotted last night (Friday 15th) about 7.45pm turning from Bridge St onto Union St and then at beach.
Looked minted... big 17s and decked to the floor... nice lookin motor. Bird was driving, bloke in passenger seat
yeah its lowered -25mm on Gmax springs at the moment. Tried to get Coilies last year, but Performance Driven were useless, so never ended up having them. Will be getting them soon tho. Bought the spoiler from a guy on here!
I get sl*gged everytime for the lexus lights... but being the connoisseur of design and style myself, i dont think red and blue go together... hence I ditched the standard red lights... blue and silver/chrome do however compliment each other! So the lexis lights actually match something else on...
COSSIE anyday. but be prepared for it to drive like an "old" car. irrespective of its condition.
the escort cosworth in moondust or Imperial Blue is my fave family shopper of all time :)
Difficult one m8. They are "pressed" on in such a manner that you have to cut the gear stick shaft. You cant get the original knob off. I had a nightmare when I fitted my B&M Quickshifter and ended up cutting the gear knob off...
Someone may have found it easy to get off, but from my...
craig... forget mainline insurance companies mate. try greenlight insurance for a quote. they were great with my mk 2 172. u need to be 21 or over and have 1 yr no claims
I think its too big. Too in your face. This is what a single 3.5" pot looks like. Much more subtle. Imagine two of these pipes next to each other! Check out this post i made when i had the 3.5" fitted...
Hey guys, thinking of taking my 172 Mk 2 to Dastek HQ at Dalgety Bay in Fife to be chipped at end of this month/beginning of next. Anyone know of anyone else who been here for it done?
Cheers, Rick
yes the noise is much different. i got one on with my K-tec zorst, and the engine sounds much racier and gruntier. very nice. the grunt wasnt there with the cat back system alone and appeared after the decat was fitted!
I am totally happy with my K-tec system. The fit is excellent, and went on with NO problems whatsoever. I went for the silenced system, which i think is just right in terms of noise.
Furthermore, the Magnex systems look very "bling" and in your face/stuck on. My single 3.5" K-tec was a...
Look at my thread on the ESP Traction Control. I think this is same problem i have aswell. Its definitely somethin to do with the drive mechanism as it only does it under high acceleration... its somethin to do with the torque on mine... it dont sound good
cheers jay. i think it may be something wrong with the drive type mechanism. it usually comes on when its under high throttle and strain. will go to em tomorrow. cheers again....
i asked a mechanic about the tyre and whether the tiny bulge would cause my problem. he said not likely. it is definitely something to do with the delivery of power to the wheels. any other ideas? differential? Faulty ESP?
possibly... the tyre of the said wheel has a small bulge in the sidewall but i thought nothing of it
but the problem continues to happen when I turn off the ESP.
It seems that my 172 has the ESP and traction control. The first to regain control on corners and the second to reduce wheel spin.
Until recently, the wheels would judder when the traction control kicked in, but when under control, it used to make like a really fast pulsating noise.
But now...
