it's only a pain to get off if A the weather is too hot as said or B the car isn't actually clean, it's all good and well washing a car with a bucket and sponge/mitt but your paint will still be full of crap which polish and other products get stuck up on, try claying it first.
precisely this, retrofitting them in anything other than a projector is technically illegal, not to mention quite dangerous as they dazzle like crazy in normal reflector headlights.
most MOT testers don't know the difference though unless it's not projecting a pattern.
small update mainly cosmetics done while I set aside a pile of cash for the belts (sadface) first off was replacing the candle power sidelights for a set of LEDs from a friend who runs Xenons Online also replaced the sunny delight indicator bulbs, on reflection ;) the indicator bulbs look...
the least pikiest way I found to stop the droning was to fit 3M double sided foam between the roof and the plastic (the bit screwed to the roof not the trim its mounted in) where it makes contact, then screw it back up but not mega tight.
plans are to tighten up the engine mounts, either with new and or polybushes a catback system and some carbon fibre.
normally I'd go for top end tyres first but it goes round bends a lot quicker and a lot more stable than any of my previous cars so I'll get the use out of what I have first..
I'm in Sutton Coldfield, I don't generally do meets as the weekends are the only times I get to spend time with the family, I do a lot of shows with MIG as I'm a regional co-ord over there, gonna see what the French show season is like next year.
