Just swap the cruise buttons onto the new wheel, one screw holds on each button.

They are different. Momo list the MOM7217R for a phase 1 and MOM7218R for a phase 2.

You can do it with a spanner, mine came with a little tool to turn it with.

That's the adjuster there at the top, will be worth soaking it in wd40 or similar looking at the condition. From memory, I think turn anticlockwise is softer, clockwise is harder.

Have a look under the bomnet. Fronts should have an adjuster at the top of the strut in the engine bay.
