Hi all, i bought my 172 2 days ago and noticed that one headlight is fine and the other one is facing down, with it been the 172 it has xenons and i looked at the bulb and it wont seem to screw in properly, like asif the thing it screws into has something missing as it just wont stay in place :/...

defo take someone with you, i had a cup and theyre good cars when looked after and id try offer him 2300 show him the cash bet hed take it as the cups are significantly cheaper no air con, leather seats xenons etc

Hi all i have just purchased a 172 cup swapped it for my corsa, and the guy said the previous owner had the cambelt done by a friend last year, is there any way i can check if this has been done? it didnt put me off too much cause the cars in good condition but was wondering if i could check in...

ahh when i type the reg in for insurance it comes up as a cup too

yeah i get what your saying, thing is iv got my astra coupe atm so needed to part ex it, still love my coupe just always wanted a clio lol, thats why i joined here so i could learn a little more about them before i went to see any

matthew the belt was changed at uk autocentre on 45k the seller told me he has reciepts too. so is that a fair price with the belt done? and cotball looks a nice car just a few too many miles on it for me :/

Hi guys found this clio 182 im thinking of buying just thought id see what you lot thought of it before i drove a good 3 hours to see it...

defo buy that back! thats nothing tbf, you can soon get some decent second hand parts off people breaking various clios and get it back to how it was :D plus keep most the money you get back for it :)

bad to hear mate, but if your after a good polish try g3 :) seems to work really well when used with a macine polisher. ps hope you catch the scum

yeah i know mate but 2 - 3k isnt that cheap lol, tbh id have a 172 but for some reason the insurance hammer you on them

thanks guys and the 172 cup is cheap on insurance dont have a clue why the 182 is pretty cheap too just the 172 seems to be 300 more, im with admirall atm! only thing that puts me off the 172 cup is no xenons etc.. but otherwise theyre smart :) will have a look at the for sale section on here...

lol iv just joined people although i dont own a clio im sooo tempted to buy 1 :D pref colour is either black, blue or silver :D only problem is i need to sell my astra coupe thats why im looking at trade centres :/ like the 172s aswell just the insurance is quite a bit more for some reason...
