never really looked into a 197, my mk3 has been a crapy car to drive over the year i have had it and kind of put me off a bit

thats the only thing that is putting me off the mini the price of parts for them if anything does go wrong, but i dont do much driving i work locally so not much miles go on my car. it really comes down to what they offer me for my car like and if i like the drive of the mini

Hey folks, im test driving a mini one tonight and thinking of getting rid of my clio mk3. has anybody ever done the oppisite and went from mini to renault and what would use recommend stick with renault or go with mini? cheers :)

aww thats fine then managed to get a ball joint today for £13 bit diff to arnold clarks £188 for part and fiiting lol

yeah i kind of thought that myself, i took it back 7 weeks ago cause there was a whining coming evrytime i broke, they cleaned the breaks out and sai there was no problems. so these 3 problems they said have came on the last 7 weeks lol

im picking the ball joint up today and hopefully my friend can fit it 2moro night, anybody know if its an easy job or not?

Re: A lil Advice? well when i was driving it it kept kangarooing, when it went into third gear got quite bad at 1 point so took it into renault they said couldnt find anything wrong but had it re-programmed,

I got my clio in december and after driving it for a lil bit noticed 1 or 2 small faults so took it back and got work done under warranty, the car is now out of warranty and one of the problems seems to be back, if i take it back will i have to pay as the fault was registerd under warranty?? i've got a 1.2 mk3 clio extreme, has anybody else had trouble with taking off?? most times when i start the car and take off there is hardly any power just seems like when you accelerate it dips any ideas?? Thanks
