bud,my cambelt and aux belt and tensioner and idler pulleys were done 736km back,and then we noticed the dephaser making a terrible noise,so i reckon its not that bad as they are litterally new!

Its not that a big job,lots of stripping to be done,hope you have the locks ready if your doing this yourself...Got mine done last week friday and oh what a joy my clio is now.Wasnt done with the cambelt and aux pulley though as they are still new.Definitely worthwhile getting it done.

Alright,sounds great,but i have the 2004 Clio sport 2.0 16V, think its a 182...delivers 131kW.What will the cambelt kit cost and why does it differ?Also,what is the cost of the locking tools?

Hi guys, I cant help wondering after enquiring at a non-Renault spares shop for a cambelt...They say there are 2 different cambelts and Renault says there is only one for the F4R motor. Also,can one buy the locking tools?Im in South Africa but dont mind shipping them over
