I am looking into the same thing, I will get re-mapped with 182 Injectors and a larger fmic or duct the original, already have a 165mm long trumpet to the turbo and an itg air filter, I would want over 130bhp from it.
I have seen these engines with 150bhp with a stock turbo, tubular manifold...
Looking for some for my daily, its on -35 apex at the moment the rear ride height is perfect but the front looks to high, has anyone got any picks of theirs on -45 springs and info on the ride characteristics.
looks like H&R springs are on my shopping list then.
i have my 15x7 et 20 and 15x8 et 20 wheels arriving soon and need to dump the front a little more and fit new Vectra splitter for the fake lows/mpg :-D
has anyone got pics of -45 mm lo-suspension or H&R setup on 15's or 16's. i have -35mm apex springs atm, rear is low as anything front is way to heigh. needs to go lower but don't want to buy the springs if they are about the same as mine.
car will be running on extreme offset wheels in august...
evening all, i am getting some wheels custom made for my clio mk3 narrow arch, it is currently sitting -35mm on apex springs but the rear looks loads lower than the front which i hate.
has anyone got pics of the front end of a mk3 with -45mm springs?
cheers paul
Mines got the bov blocked and a home made itg air intake, reflective heat wrapped boost pipes (free from work). Made a difference on pick up but really needs remapping properly. Exhaust wise there is a tubular manifold for the tce out there, 2.5" systems de-cats and more. Change the ic for a...
I am on the hunt for two 30mm hub centric spacers but cannot find any anywhere in 4x100 60.1cb anyone know where to get some from?
And before I get told about wheel bearings ect dont care :-). Its to finish my fuel saving mods off :-).
Use an angle grinder with a wire wheel, then finish it off with a dremel style gizmo, £30 pounds total. And re-useable for anything else you may have as well. This is how I did my mini hubs.
Ask my girlfriend? What makes you think i have one?
Why do people always think you have to speed to have fun? I drag race and I do track days occasionally I have fun on national speed limit roads which are twisty and demanding. So yes I can corner faster but I can also corner with more feel...
I'm not on about average speed ect, if the driver prefers an adjusted set up so be it.
Why is it histerical that people want a good setup on a road car? Why do you want a good set up on a track or race car? Your making your self sound a little silly, it is obvious to have a better feel and...
This thread is amazing....
-standard suspension setups and geo can always be improved on to what the driver prefers whether its ROAD or TRACK.
-increased camber can be good and bad depending on your driving style and how much is used.
-the person who said "since adding more camber my...
f**k the offset they wont go on, wrong centre bore, if you have the balls get them bored to fit, they you know no one wi have them ;-) can always roll arches or just have poke :-)
Seen them both about, had a play with a black 182 in the ghetto fab metro, I have the black mk3 tce with pink ghetto fab stickers and matt black sunstrip with one red wheel ;-) #tolazytopainttheothers
I have hated the 4x4 look of my narrow arch since I have owned it. I am on the hunt for some 30-40mm lowering springs and some hubcentric wheel spacers too to get a half decent wheel to body gap (running on std 15x6 et45 steelies soon to have moonies). I want to reduce the gap so increased...
Flush to outside of arch thats what i class as flush if your droped and flush then your stanced or am i getting to old? Personally i would prefer to keep 6j wheels and just have the centre moved. I woukd get some more force racing wheels but they are out of my budget for a daily
No idea on et as they are std steels, cheap option is spacers but would need like 50mm on the rear to be flush. Banded steeliss are about 200 for the cheapsst quote, alloys are expencive as i only like the turbine's for a 15" wheel and they are £300+ spacers
Btw im a pikey b*****d :-)
Im not after a mega drop, its a work cow or horse not sure which it is now... i want rid of anti flush a little drop then remap. I have a classic mini for fun stuff.
Good eve, i have a narrow arch mk3 tce, i want to get some mildly banded steeliss done for it. I was thinking 7" front and 7.5/8" rear. The car will be dropped 30mm as well. I want the rims flush with the arch but no poke will i get away with this? The other option is spacers, same 30mm drop but...
clio mk3 tce, arround town/spirited to work driving 39.6mpg, did a trip to france got 619miles to a tank 70-80mph mostly, have seen 60 mpg @ 55mph on the inside lane
