Strong fishing line or nylon string. Work it behind the plate and pull it up then down in a sawing motion as you move along from one side of the plate to the other. then just carefully remove any left over tape and if any glue is still stuck on the paint, use swan lighter fluid and a soft cloth...

Best to way up the costs of getting it running or spend money on another car? But then you could buy someone else's problems and still have to spend money on it! if the car is in a very good condition and you have spent money getting it to where it is now then keep it and finish getting it...

Decided to see what I could get yesterday on a drive down to Norwich and got a reading of 45.5 on the way down and 42.3 on trip back. Mixed driving combined of steady 45-50mph in traffic to 80mph on the carriage ways. Not too bad for a 154000 mileage car.

Even so it's old but I can confirm my 172 does just the same at 70/80. I thought it was the temp thingy under the passenger mirror humming.

not really, I sent a copy of my post about "just to clarify things" and got the reply back I posted earlier. So really none the wiser!

Always buy secondhand already UNLOCKED by the previous owner as the unlock codes differ in price. Hope this answers your questions. Kind regards, Henk ​so I'm not gonna bother with it and sell it on.

Just to clarify thIngs and make sure everyone will know including me :) i bought the tuner off a guy with a Megane 250 so it is locked to that car. i want to unlock it and map my ph2 172 with the ron98 map. so to do this I need to buy the megane 250 unlock code and NOT the Clio 2 unlock code...

he bought the reprogram license for Clio 2 plus the pop n bang map.

I did this last week (well my son did) and got an email from Henk saying it can't be unlocked as its locked to a meg 250. That's what the guy has who I bought it off btw. So now I'm confused as to how to unlock it.

Search function = needle/haystack. What I was asking is if I was the first owner of the tuner and wanted to sell it, I need to just buy an unlock code from you so what would I need to send you to prove I'm the owner! Just the vci code?

What would the current owner need to do to unlock it?

My son had a dci 80 and modded that with a few sport bits and had it mapped and insurance wasn't too bad plus it was only £30 a year to tax.

A 51 plate iceberg 172. I was parked up along Wellington rd (it runs parallel with chapel field rd on left towards the centre) but did have a run around town too ;)

I guess it would of been you in the LY on Chapel field then. Also saw an RB along there too plus a 172 cup and an iceberg 172. I was following a non sport along Dereham rd around tea time that was modded with multi spokes tints and clear rear lights.

I was in Norwich on Saturday and that place is alive with RS Clio's. Chapel field rd is like a Clio parade lap at times.

There's an iceberg 172 on our drive right now. Some 52 yr old guy drives it as a daily too! ;)
