Couldnt get an ID of the car that was on my side as I was coming out of a chicane at 3.30am Not too bothered as long as my insurance pays out!
With the AX I was pulling in after overtaking and something pulled out of a side road ahead of me causing me to swerve, go through a 180 spin...
Driving home late the last week I had to swerve to avoid someone on my side. Needless to say my lovely (but unreliable) valver is no more and I am on the bike to work! Thanks to everyone who has given me advice over the past year, maybe see you all again soon! (Please excuse the wheels, I didnt...
do you mean do i run it til its nearly empty, I do.
Filled it up the other day and was still cutting out this morning.
Doesnt make any difference if I have plenty of petrol left.
I’m having big problems with my valver in that it is starting to cut out when idling, even when the engine is warm. It just dies and when I try to restart it the engine turns over but doesn’t catch for a while. I have a full exhaust system, de-cat and IK but nothing else. It hasn’t been serviced...
Hows about this for a little more

Looking to spend under £100 for the sub amp. I will upgrade the whole system when I come into a bit of cash but I want something that will do the job for now. Any recommendations for amps that will run this sub?
Ok thats a nice amp but a little out of my current price range. How about if I start with just one of those subs, can you recommend an amp that would keep it company for a while til I win the lottery? Sorry to hijack my own thread.

Looking at the £40 limit on subs, want to get a couple of 12" - amp to be chosen later. Any advice/experience?
JBL seem good value, also Pioneers TS-W305C looks nice in my price range.

The bottom line is that modding YOUR car is about changing it in ways that make YOU happy. There will always be people who dont like it - Thats a gimme, but if you are going to trick your car you are prepared to deal with that, if not then you will still ultimately be styling/modding it to your...
Ive been with them since I was 17, now 25 and paying £450 fully comp - alloys, zorst, filter. Renewal quote came through at £700, phoned up and they requoted at todays prices £250 cheaper!
Cars owned - Beetle , 5GTT, AX GT, Valver

you will need to make sure whether the sub would work best in a ported or sealed enclosure and dont forget to add the wiring terminals!
I doubt you could make a true triangle box as it probably wouldnt be deep enough for the magnet. Would depend on thickness or wood used and...
According to Haynes...
Brown & Green = Left Front
Pink & White = Right Front
I think the rule for Reno wiring is that the lighter colour is negative.
Now dont go blowing things up just cos I told you to young man :p
I think it might be your engine mounts need replacing. I have a bit of play in my engine and this feeds back to the gear stick when I press the go pedal.
IMO if you want to keep your valver standard you would need to make it show condition without any blemishes, otherwise you wont get any pleasure from it. I would have thought that adding a K-Tec system, changing the colour of your flip-up side winkers and dropping it a bit but still keeping it...
