Currently at the Midlands breakfast club car meeting at the British Ironwork centre near Oswestry. Good weather has brought some lovely cars out. I've even dusted off the rally car... will add some more later. Another cup and a trophy also here

Silver 172. stripped out, bucket seats etc. Looked quite tidy just now.

Very clean looking car, but it really needs the stainless exhaust refitting properly as it shouldn't be hanging down that low.

As title really, what are the differences between the ph1 172 inlets compared to the ph2 172 inlets I know the throttle bodies are different ie one is cable, the other fbw, but are the hole pitches for the TB the same? Is the only other difference the holes for the idle control valve the only...

As im building another rally car, I am looking at using the Goodridge hardline fuel pipe in the car from the tank to the front bulkhead, then use braided fuel hose in the engine bay. Has anyone else done similar.
