A pressurised bleeding kit is the best way to make sure the air gets out!
If you got air in the abs pump you will need to get that to activate to push the air out of the pump!
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
I dont understand the 205 wheel craze! They look s**t and really dont suit the 106 at all!
Looks pretty clean 106 fella nice one!
Could be coilpack! Thats what it normally is when they start misfiring intermittently!
At the start of next year im planning to go boost with my 182!
Who does the rotrex kits and which one would you go for?!
Ive seen the K-Tec kit on their website and seems good?!
Thanks Nick
Thanks all for your responses!
I did a quick search after i posted this!
Looks like i will have to get this replaced when i get paid!
Only had a Renault 5 mins and im 500-600 quid down already haha!
I picked up my 182 earlier today, when i got it home and opened the door i noticed the engine sounding a little rough!
I popped the bonnet and checked over what i could see, but it sounds like a tractor!
The noise is coming from underneath the plastic on top of the engine!
Any ideas?
The car will be used on the road only but is only used for fun due to having another car for everyday!
I was thinking along the lines of 1.5 deg front camber 1.0 rear camber!
Would rather have a tuner set it up properly! Any recommendations?
Right, im looking at buying a set of AST sportline 2 coilovers with the top mounts!
After i have had these fitted i would like the suspension geometry setup properly to work in a fast road setup!
I read somewhere that using the pinch bolts for camber adjustment at the front isnt the best way...
Afternoon all,
Picking up my silver 182 with both cup packs tomorrow! Cant wait!
Plan is to just be a fast road car for now!
Hope to stick around and put a progress blog up in due course!
Nick
