600hp on a 1.6 that is crazy!
Thanks for the advice again, looks like I should definitely be considering these over the K-Tec and BB offerings at £500 a set..
Back again.. anybody heard/had experience of these rods? (see link below)
Just looking at options for my Williams, and apparently these are fine if you use the F4R bearings instead...
I'm prepared to be shot down in flames if this has already been answered before, but i have spent the last 30 minutes searching and trying to find anything on here.. please be gentle lol
Are F4R and F7R conrods interchangeable?
I felt it was time for a french car when i got my arse kicked by a saxo westcoast on a roundabout in my escort rs turbo with a grands worth of suspension setup on it lol
Had one go of a williams 2 (now mine) and it was a far superior car in everyway to the escort in my opinion - although...
Yeah we did think that ourselves, my times werent too far apart from one bad one, but my mate managed a few late 9s/early 10s in his saxo vtr then all of a sudden got a 7.7 on one run!!!!
I guess the launch can make as a much as a one second difference though?
Still I am happy believing...
Cheers mate, I was impressed with enough with the second run I done (the 7.1) for a 100K+ engine and a cracked zorst manifold, let alone getting into the mid 6s :)
Really got to pop over and meet you lot next time!
Did any one run theirs for the 0..60 sprint?
I run mine and got a 6.58 as best so just wondered how it compared?
Im running with a Ram Air panel filter, Mongoose back box and spare wheel removed.
Cheers :)

I managed a 15.83 yesterday at USC but that was my first ever quarter mile run and the queues were too big to use the 2nd and 3rd attempts
By the way, thats with the spare wheel and cage removed and its just past the 100K mark on the miles.
Also has a Mongoose backbox and a Ramair...
Bit of a long shot this one, but does anybody have the measurements for the decal positioning for the Williams and the 2 decals on the tailgate and quarter panels?
Cheers!
ello peeps,
run my willy 2 on the rollers the weekend...
completely standard except ramair panel filter and mongoose backbox - and at 94K
got 157.3bhp and 129.1lb/ft which i dont think is too sad at all especially with the mileage
has anyone else run a fairly standard one and got...
