Alternator should put out roughly 13.5-14.5 volts, check tension of belt and condition of wiring before buying your new alternator!

That is the sensor before you catalytic converter, check the wiring and output of the sensor before fitting a new one.

Are you guys using a software update after you fit the new Dephaser pulley? I have done many dephasers on petrol renaults and any competent mechanic would find it simple so going to Renault is madness in my eyes!

Yeorge, The engine management light indicates a fault has been logged by the management system. You need someone competent to plug your vehicle into a diagnostic tool and look at the nature and history of faults. It may well be something simple and emmisions related. Check if anyone local to...

Oh they are definately a ball ache I changed a full set on my 172 today. I will say a set of stubby spanners helped me no end as access is limited!! Good luck

The bearings are cheap as chips boss don't stress!!

It's not only 172/182's I have a 1.5 DCi and the clutch pedal was awfully heavy, clutch cable sticking! ​

I don't have direct clio sport cambelt failure experience but on both recent Twingo and Megane petrol timing failures i have opened the engine to find carnage, serious interference. Pictures later!! I would be happy to strap in a low mileage full engine replacement if I was you, like others...

Are you front footwell carpets dry? Leaking Heater Matrix?

When you jack your car up grab the tyre and rock top to bottom and then side to side as hard as you can... Should help you to identify if there is steering / suspension play

Mate, you should be able to read injection fault codes and get enough live data from the Generic OBD2 code readers that are very cheap. I would suggest you get the vehicle checked, have you noticed any excess smoke on start up or under wide open throttle?
