Hi guys - long time no post for me as i am now an st owner.
Anyway thinking of coming back to the fold with either a new rs clio or more favourably a late 182.
In the link below is a liquid 182, correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure ive read on this site before that there is something...
I have a trophy, and have had 3 other rs clio's too. the points people make about the mods to the suspension and exhaust etc will make the cup extremely close to the trophy in terms of handling - but i beleive the ride would be too crashy - the trophy handling is amazing but still retains...
you will lose the vat you pay straight away. Personally there is never a winner with cars. Renault always ave and always will be patchy in terms of reliability.
if depreciation and reliability are the major worries then get a vw. safe bet
Mwuahahaha! No mate - panel by panel when i can. done the bonnet, tailgate and front wings.
the pc is no magic wand unfortunately - i am being really cautious and taking my time - the results are amazing though. Will probably get quicker as i get more cars under the belt. gonna tackle the...
ive had that - not sure what exactly governs the cut in - people say oil temp, but it is erratice. somedays the car is only just warm and no cut in, sometimes could have doen 10 miles and it does!! wierd. had 4 rs clios and all the same!
^^^^^^spot on advice. 7 is far too high, there will be story tucked away in that cars past. try pistonheads theres always a few on there.
Im on my 4th RS clio. They are a 'little' jerky when cold but nothing more. like jerky to any throttle input and jerky when letting off throttle. They...
....so people who havent got trophies can't try and make them look like trophies. As capsicum red is only available on the trophy, why would anyone want to put all the gear on another 182 in a different colour and stick trophy stickers on? From a renault angle it would dilute the exclusivity of...
never mind that one, look at the one at the top, some f*ckpig has ruined a lovely odesse blue 172, putting a terrible bumper and aftermarket alloy on it!
Absolutley disgusting!
Funny, EVO mag have timed the 182cup and the 172 cup as:
182 cup 0-60: 6.6, 0-100 17.5 max 139
172 cup 0-60: 6.5, 0-100 17.7 max 138
that tells me theres nowt in it. they could of course by lying and the 172cup would beat them all easy! :S
looking at the number of posts you have made, ie 7, its obvious that you are not aware of the frequent heated debates that arise following this sort of question.
If you read the rules on posting, it suggests searching for a topic first. So my friend, coil your tongue back in and do a little...
no. it will sound like a stevensons rocket though. TBH i would be surprised if the manifold was blowing - strongest part of the exhaust.
I suspect its probably fractured on a pipe joint around one of the 3 silencers ( 2 backboxes, 1 midbox)
if its the original exhaust then its all one piece until the cat then at the manifold. pop the bonnet and listen - you will tell if its the manifold - pop pop pop sound. have a listen underneath to see where its coming from.
hi nige good choice of car. try the following for all the car car answers you need
www.detailingworld.co.uk
Also try www.cliotrophy.co.uk if you wanna talk to other trophy owners.
nice one
trust me on this one - go to halfords and buy a can of rover 'stone grey' spray. spray into lid and use that to touch up. Its a perfect match. I had to same issue - a stonechip about 0.5mm diameter. Now invisible!
