Local garage and RAC didn't pick up any faults after eml light was flashing?

The TDC sensor has already been replaced last year and when the car didn't start the TDC sensor was the first thing I checked, Took it out and gave it a clean. When the TDC sensor was changed I didn't change the wiring loom though.

I've been trying to push it in so hard that the cage is starting to warp. After I tried some vaseline it seems to want to pop back out. Clearly I'm not doing something right. I'm expecting the swaged end to push past the the rib section in the filter.

The wiring that came with the head unit has a bunch of other individual wire connections which I have no idea what they are for

One was knocked off so have bought a replacement. I read on another thread that cars with HIDs won't pass MOT without headlamp washers otherwise I would have opted to blank them.

Anyone had experience with fitting headlight washer jets on a 182? I read in another post its just a matter of removing the bumper. How difficult is the bumper to remove?

Thanks for all your input I ended up going for the p zeros at 71 a piece. Should be fitted by the end of the week I'll be happy if they perform better than the rainsport 3s. I'll try the PS3s for next time when the budget isn't so tight.

Can anyone else comment on the Pirelli P Zero Nero GTs I'm tempted by the cheaper price.

Thanks for your help. I ended up buy an after market sensor from euro car parts but when I went to screw it back in it snapped. I'll be taking it back for a refund and trying to source a genuine part. I took some abrasive paper to my old sensor to clean it up and the car seems to be working ok...

would a faulty coolant temp sensor explain all the problems that I'm having or just the flickering temp gage? Anyone know how much the part is and how much I might expect to have it fitted?

I should also mention that I don't think its an immobiliser issue because the car sounds like it was trying to turn over but doesn't fire. After some time it completely stopped turning over but at this point I managed a rolling start.
