Cheers for the replies lads, I've finally managed to get it off with brute force and lots of #@£#*# at it! Disc is proper fcuked now, fell apart ffs absolute joke it was on that tight.
OK, I've tried to take the disk off and it won't come off ffs the Garage said they nipped the hub nut up and I'm guessing that's the reason but may be wrong.
I've smacked it with a hammer and pulled on it with the wheel back on and it literally wobbles like the play the guy was talking about...
They are on, I will double check on the spacer as its possible I put one side on the wrong way, schoolboy error if so! It's torqued up to 175 so it isn't that.
Gutted(n)
Airbag light was a matter of time as its intermittent from the dreaded wiring under the seats, guessing they moved the seat as its been off all year!
Strange one with the wheel bearing play as I've replaced both rear Discs and pads with Brembo ones which people recommend on here...
Thanks mate for that but the problem is I've made sure that's been done as I did know about that from reading various guides/posts on here, other side went in fine. I'll double check though tomorrow.
Here goes, had a bit of a mare today fitting these on my 182 😟
One side went on OK BUT when I torqued the hub nut up to 175nm I heard a crack and on undoing the nut again I was met by this, oops!
Now onto the other side! Everything well OK Until the pads went on and I tried to tap the...
Back again!
These are still OOS and I need them ASAP as the car needs a mot and it was flagged up in the last one so can anyone give us any decent alternatives?
Tia.
Cheers all for the replies, just been pricing some up and there is roughly £100 diff between the tyres mentioned compared to PS2's - cheapest for 4 fitted is £504.
I know I said couldn't stretch to Michelins but I thought there would be a bigger difference in price If truth be told! I remember...
... Other than Michelins! because I'm poor at the mo!!
I've ran Rainsports and ZV7's and found them pretty good, should I stick with them?
Any offers or anyone recommend the best price for them too please??
Ta.
Thanks all for the comments and it being French it's started to work today after doing the sum of sweet fa to it!
Quirky things as they get older ain't they lol!
The old bulb that was in won't go back in! So it rules that out, going to check the n/s holder as something ain't right, shouldn't have this much trouble putting a bulb in lol
Yeah tried twisting both ways but it won't engage, there is a slight 'slit' on the bulb holder that the dimples twists into but it doesnt look right on one side to me but not 100% sure tbh.
Odd one, all the other bulbs go in fine.
Sorry pal been stuck in work unable to reply!
I've tried to insert the bulb - other came out OK but it will not rotate to securely fit ie the little dimples on the bulb will not rotate and fit into the holder.
PITA to do yourself aint they? just had a look at a few guides and it sounds that way going off them!
I don't mind getting my hands dirty but one to leave to the pros methinks with a ramp!
I've just contacted Birchdown and see what they say.
Cheers all.
Quick one Guys.
I noticed today whilst on the motorway every time I put my foot down the revs shot up and I got a short burst of speed then they came back down again within seconds!
I thought I had a turbo for a sec!!
It did this in every gear apart from 1st really.
Any idea the most...
