Easy enough to do??
I've got the light on and it used to go off come MOT time! but it seems to be all all the time now! so looking to code it out without messing it up.
Any guide about?
Ta.
Unfortunately I'm a bit too far from Newark as I'm in Manchester, I have had one posted to us before without issues, I do know they can be a bit fragile though! Getting a bit desperate so I'd take my chance if you fancy posting one out Pal.
PM us if that's OK with you but no worries if you...
Struggling to find a good used one with a grey insert, are these available new from anywhere? I did read Autodoc do them but they are for the European market so the beam or something ain't right.
Anyone know anywhere??
OK, so does anyone have the correct part number for the clutch? I am just about ready to order one however a few different ones pop up and I'd like to 100% order the correct one.
Ta.
As per the thread title, where's the best place/price to get one from for my 182?
Its been slipping for a while and it's never had a clutch since new! so the time has come.
Road use only needed.
Tia.
Cheers lads for all the replies, I managed to get the disc back on with a lot of messing about, right pita to be honest but a block of wood and a few gentle taps of the lump hammer did the trick, MOT passed so happy days (y)
Just out of interest, anyone know why the disc didn't just slide on with ease? I made sure everything was clean and I even lubed it up to encourage it but it wasn't having it?
Oh ffs, French piece of Sh**
This happened when attempting to put my disc on, thought it was tight going on and it wouldn't so attempted to pull it off and it left this behind.
Joke.
Cheers for the replies lads, I've finally managed to get it off with brute force and lots of #@£#*# at it! Disc is proper fcuked now, fell apart ffs absolute joke it was on that tight.
OK, I've tried to take the disk off and it won't come off ffs the Garage said they nipped the hub nut up and I'm guessing that's the reason but may be wrong.
I've smacked it with a hammer and pulled on it with the wheel back on and it literally wobbles like the play the guy was talking about...
They are on, I will double check on the spacer as its possible I put one side on the wrong way, schoolboy error if so! It's torqued up to 175 so it isn't that.
Gutted(n)
Airbag light was a matter of time as its intermittent from the dreaded wiring under the seats, guessing they moved the seat as its been off all year!
Strange one with the wheel bearing play as I've replaced both rear Discs and pads with Brembo ones which people recommend on here...
Thanks mate for that but the problem is I've made sure that's been done as I did know about that from reading various guides/posts on here, other side went in fine. I'll double check though tomorrow.
Here goes, had a bit of a mare today fitting these on my 182 😟
One side went on OK BUT when I torqued the hub nut up to 175nm I heard a crack and on undoing the nut again I was met by this, oops!
Now onto the other side! Everything well OK Until the pads went on and I tried to tap the...
