work your engine hard from day 1???? what the f**k the salesman is talking bollox yes if u thrash the engine from new it will get loose and produce good power, rev freely etc etc but by about 25000 miles it will be in the same condition as an engine thats been looked after and done 150000miles...

jap cars ive had a 200sx turb and an mr2turb good fun just didnt have the spirit or the emotion i found my 106gti had anyways seen a gorge 172 cup today so that looks like the car for me !

but jap sh*t dont have the certain "thing to it" japs have no flair! jap cars do everything but just do everything average just my two peneth i find them boring

its drivable but its not road legal its really only the engine and running gear thats worth alot about 2500quid needs painting too good for if someones after probably the best engine u could buy ! shell is rust free i dont know if i can part with it everytime i have it ticking over on the drive...

he he ive got a full europarts engine with 1.7miles on the clock new everything turbo rad alternator electrics etc and with full silicon hoses 30 hoses if i can remember is that what u want this engine is bombproof if u buy a sh*tty 5 u will only have to spend bout 2k getting it right might...

my old 106 gti was 163bhp was bought by a lad who is having his 106 put up to over 210bhp with a longman built engine! by expensive i would say over 20k
