£ for drivers mirror glass

Some daft ijiot just smashed the glass in my drivers side wing mirror because they didnt know how wide their car was.

Anyone know how much a replacement is? Its a 172 MkII and its heated! Ive never had to replace a heated one but I bet they are dearer!

Anyone know?

this probably wont be much help but i had the same thing, held my horn down until the driver of the other car stopped as i was in reverse ready to give chase. Anyway, it cost her £25 ish just for the mirror glass - thats on a mk.1 non-heated tho.,.... sorry couldnt be much help tho - it may give you an idea of what to expect?

Some a - hole in boxter did the same to me and he said I was too far over despite kerbing my alloy!

If I remember rightly the mirror cost about £35.

Ill get one on order tomorrow, I hate buying full price main dealer parts so Ill try andyspares.com etc. See if I can get it any cheaper

Halfords do mirror glass for £5.99, not the heated tho. but a darn site cheaper!

I just got a heated one for 19 16v, was about £20, i had a stick on one b4 and it didnt heat even with the old one still behind it.

Checked with local Renault dealer £22 and they have them in stock.

Im pleasently suprised, thought it would be a minimum of £30!

Nice lady in parts has a Cup so Ill be going at lunchtime for a quick chat.
