£1000 to spend on a 172 cup, What would you buy?

Ok guys I you had £1000 to spend improving your 172 cup what could u buy?

DS2500 pads
Brembo discs
Braided brake lines
Upgraded brake fluid
Lowering springs
A good service.

Should even have some spare change for some Shell Vpower.

It would depend on what condition it was in currently.

Id want it to handle and go like factory as a starting point, so if cam timing was out or steering joints had play etc, Id start there first to get it back to as it should be before modifying it.

If it was already mint, probably a set of trophy seats or an RS2 (secondhand and fit and map it myself to keep it to a grand, lol)

Depends on current spec first and what you want to use the car for? Cambelt been done?

Things to buy on a list:

- A good service
- Uprated disks and pads
- Better tyres
- Refresh bushes

All before 'tuning' parts...

If the above is ok, then its personal choice.

You could go for ride height or exhaust or wheels..

The world is your oyster..

If it was ME

Then that money would be being saved towards all of the necessary turbo components I want.
