Thanks Fred! Glad you like it :) See you at RS National for a catch up, assuming you'll be there..!

(Guillaume is French for William/s ;) ) Forum name of Williams.? With a v6..? just doesn't sit quite right.. lol

It is a very high price, but it does have very few miles on it.. If someone wanted one as a museum piece, a collector.. as a long term investment, its not an un-realistic price IMO. £27k brand new... now has 4k on the clock.. One only has to look at R5 Turbos and T2's to see how much these cars 'could' appreciate by in 20 years or so.

I think in a few years they will be going up in price and maybe more the r5 turbos and T2s but not yet.

Surely its worth what ever someone is prepared to pay for it..

With that sort of mileage on it, it 'should' be as new condition. If so, I don't think it un-reasonable for it to be priced as such, certainly to a buyer who wanted one from new, but perhaps wasn't in a position to buy one new 6 years ago.

it is worth what someone will pay- but 26k for say 4kmiles or a low mileage 20k miles one that pops up in PH from time to time at say £17/18k - 10k difference in miles doesnt = 8k in price

well im prepared to pay £12k for it, i doubt it'll ever sell for that much, there's a dealer up norf been trying to shift these for £20k with slightly higher mileage, he's prices r slowly coming down after 6months

Its all subjective Steve.. and the car will probably not sell anyway lol. To the collector who wants the best example available, he would possibly be prepared to pay a premium for such a low milage, prime example. Such as this would appear to be.

So a 16k reduction in miles as per your 20k example.. 'may', command a 8k in the price asked. ;)

No one would be looking at buying such a car, at that price to sell on. So in my eyes it doesnt need to be at a 'todays market value'.

Not all cars are about buying and selling value, so the price is irrelevant. Mine may be worth a few bob, then again it might not, I'm not interested in it's resale value. I do of course keep a spare £25K to one side just in case I should need a nice replacement Vee. If the one I'm after is £30K or more then so be it.

Then you'll never be the owner of it will you.. not for 12k. Unless its bent. lol

Its very much a niche market. Much like the Noble market place, I'm sure prime examples of those will command a premium..

This Vee has the full leather option pack including engine covers. Would have been £32.5K when new.

Blue leather with grey plastics?

£32k is a lot. Was it a Marketing car James, or did someone actually pay that?

Was once owned buy Renault for the motorshow, then a director of MTV owned it. My Vee was £32.5K also at one point.

There's not much plastic in there that isn't covered in leather.

Looks pretty bad though, it doesn't suit the car at all! Mental, did you get to choose what colour of leather?

Oh dear God! I thought the Gordini was bad taste!

I actually don't like Lunar that much, although I like Storm grey on the right 197/200.
