Least you had someone to video yours, i did mine (in my MR2 - bog standard) on my own...starting from the Payment booth on the M6 toll. Was going great to 80 when some dizzy bint pulled into my lane with zero indication.......

:S Very unbelievable Im afraid. My 1.6 Corsa only nearly touches 60 in 2nd but 3rd is my fave gear.

its supposed to take 10.5seconds
the first video was supposed to be funny as i was on a massive ramp,
the 2nd was to show that i could hit 60mph in 2nd gear.

i dont care if you think this car is slow, in my opinion its how you drive it.


as for pushing it more, yeh it keeps going but not with one hand on the wheel!

so youd rather pay about £6 in petrol to get to 60 2 seconds quicker than me but prolly have to stop for the next corner!

0-60 is about 10.5 secs from that vid as NO speed's are that correct, ie at 60on the speedo you are only really going around 57-58, so therefore you have to look at what time it takes to get to 63 and that takes a gear change, so around 10.5s seems about right to me, then a further 23-24s to get from 60-100....(105 on speedo)

but still, as long as you enjoy, thats the main thing, as my first car was an 850cc MINI (yes I'm old) which only had 34bhp and NO 0-100mph, as it couldn't reach 100mph....lol 0-60 was about 20s...
