02 Handsets..

I want a new phone and i'm just gonna get another contract as it'll be cheaper than buying a sim free N70 as a sim free N70 will be around £350.....and to take out an 02 contract at £19 for 12 months is £230.

Also will it be unlocked as i know most 02 handsets are unlocked so i can use my vodafone contract sim in it??

i've had 3 phones from o2 on contracts (the online contract) and all 3 where unlocked including there own o2 XDA SP so i would think it would be also don't you get a cooling off time with contracts like 14 days to send it back if unhappy?? so if didn't work could do that?
