1.2/ 1.2 tce

Hi guys,

does anyone know the difference between the mk3 1.2 and the 1.2 tce engines, apart from the turbo (obviously). Or are they the same engine?

The following question would be, would everything off the tce bolt onto the 1.2 or is it a case of an engine swap. If so id just go for a bigger engine

its the same base engine but the internals are different, compression is different, given how cheap a TCE engine is, its much cheaper to just replace the engine than convert yours to TCE spec

Yeah I bought it off @Iranian Pudding when I had a twingo. Bought it as a spare

@Iranian Pudding can confirm what it came from and miles etc.

99k miles serviced every 6k and had 12 years of Renault servicing before me and I took over keeping to yearly oil changes. It ran like a dream tbh
