1.2 16v air filter

Just looked through service history to check afew things and realise air filter wasnt changed on last service, so hasnt been done since 46k miles. Car is now on 85K and next service not due til 96K.

I wanna look after the car seeing as the mileage is getting bad so should i replace the air filter? I would ideally want a standard one, how much are they form renault? Just want the car to run as best as i can get it, not really crazy about improving performace as its only a 1.2. Are there any aftermarket airfilters i should also consider to improve te running of the engine.

Another thing is the fuel filter has never been changed. Is it true they last 120K? I run lo on fuel alot so how much are these if i were to consider replacing. Thanks

don't worry about the fuel filter, its not an issue

air filter just buy a standard one

£7.79+vat for a std one

o no,i dont think the aux belt has been done either, would this be written as something else on service records?? When should the aux belt be changed??

aux belt is 36K, easy peasy to change yourself

filter is upto you, but from my experience with that engine there's no point

why's that?? If you tell em 1.2 16v engines are cack i shant be offended lol. I just want it run as good as i can get, say no expense spared. what would u say, replace it with standard filter...?

says they supply 1.2 16v filter too, im guessing they have square ones aswell.

okay thanks for being frank (seriously). I will just replace the filter with a standard one i guess, should be able to do that. Where is aux belt, and how do u change it, thanks for the help fred.
