1.2 16V Coilovers. Problems??

Did any1 have any problems when they fitted theres?? i think i need to put spacers on the front as my wheels (standard 15" dynamic) seem to rub on the actual coilovers themselfs. has any1 else had the same problem at all?? if so wat size spacers did u use to solve the problem??

Most coilcover kits which i sell, come with a disclaimer that you may need to put spacers on so as to allow full movement on the wheels.

TBH with you, you will only need at max a 5mm spacer, which wont cause any major problems. If you have a look at where they are catching and measure the distance that you need to move the wheel out by, drop me a PM and i will see how much they cost and how quickley i can get a set.

I had to put 5mm spacers on my 1.2 16v on the fronts with FK coilovers.

You shouldn't need them as Fred said get the camber checked mine was down 60mm on coilovers and it never caught and that was on bigger tyres. When I ran a load of camber it used to be very close to catching sounds like yours is running even more camber.

Fred n edde no i havnt set the camber proply yet i just got it as close to the original setting as possible. i was going to have another go to get my ride height perfect to how i want it today then take it to a garage to have the camber ajusted. am i going the right way about this?? Fred i think i saw u last nite in ur V6, have stickered it up with yozzasport stickers?? i was at the total garage in Hockley Heath!!

i however havent had mine set up properly...... we just guestimated lol
